Hi i am just wandering if someone can help me diagnose a problem with an inverter of my friends. He accidentally pluged it into 24V instead of 12V, says it smoked up instantly. I have replaced the fets on the heat sink and the unit turns on but there is no 240v output. The indicator on the fron says "Ac volts on" but nothing on the output. It is a Selectronic pure sine wave inverter model no LD200-12. Please help if you can.

please my friend your explanation is alittle bit small though personally I have not worked on that model, but it could have been vital if you explained about the switching ic's beeing used [if pulse width].
