Hi all, I have a Blaupunkt 475 PNP amp on the bench which came in with blown power supply transistors, I replaced the 4 blown irf3205's powered on and it's blown them within seconds.

That could be from a defective driver circuit, a shorted transformer or some load on the secondary.
When you pull the FETs, check the drive signal before installing the new FETs. This is best done with a loading capacitor (0.01uf - 0.1uf) connected across the gate and drain of the FET location being checked.
