F- as a sander. Even cheap new ones work much better. I see identical really used b&d @ asking $40. If someone out there collects tools like this for sticker price this beaut can be on your personal collection shelf haha, someone..anyone 😉
 
This machine do circles so itwill cross fibers of the wood and will break them leaving broken fibers.

For better result you should use a LINEAR sander and run it paralell to the fibers of the wood.

You shoul try the macine you have on a sample of you wood before you work on your project.
