BIIIse-PRO no lock

I cannot get a lock between BIIIse-PRO and Amanero.

Its connected according to the image below including gnd->gnd.

Im using default on-board controller and get a brief flash on mute led on power up so that should be working correctly.

All tridents show correct voltages.


Suggestions on what could be the problem and how to troubleshoot?

Set SW1 position 1 to off to select I2S. Introducing the Buffalo III-SE-Pro 9028/9038


Lock led is now on while nothing is playing. As soon as something starts playing lock led is off.
Seems like inverted behaviour?



Also tested setting SW2 positions 5-8 off but no luck. Introducing the Buffalo III-SE-Pro 9028/9038

How is the Amanero flashed?

It turned out to be a faulty amanero.


While waiting for Hermes boards to be available again I have bought a separate amanero.
How should the amanero be flashed to work with hermes-cronus? Is there a .hex available?
