But this will show the rings right ?
Not realy that depends if you focus to the lcd or not lol, the thing is, when u have a frensel on top you just got to make sure that the frensel doesnt focus with the lcd, 10mm should be fine, it is on mine, having the light in a incorrect position will show you rings also. Having the 2 frensels quite close together helps with image brightness too.
Your pics are great, nice job on your projector, all we have to do now is sort out ya problem. I like the shot with you sitting on your bike lol very Indenesian🙂
Trev
What's that suppose to mean.....I like the shot with you sitting on your bike lol very Indenesian

Anyway, I'll try your suggestion tonight Ace. I'll update my results here....Thanks a buch ACE 😉
And for the meantime....any other suggestions are VERY welcome.😀

Hehehehe was a joke, after all, there are manny bikes there lol quite a few here too actually. I flew over indonesia going to singapore, very nice place, ill have to go there some day🙂 .
Let me know how ya go and we will see what we can do next if its no good, try also with the frensels unsplit. Once we get it good i may have a condenser for ya.
Trev🙂
Yup so many bikes here. FYI, with only US$50 as a down payment, you could own a bike.....
Hehehe....Next time, forget Singapore, go to BALI. Guaranteed a 100% "FOCUSED" holiday there. 😀
Kay, I'll try the distance you recomended and the unsplit setup. Let you know tomorrow. Thanks buddy....😉

hi dewil
- first, check your projector's axis(lines through lamp center-> fresnel center-> projection lens center)
- And, if you use large size lens. place and align with axis very very very cafully.
- if axis has no problem, change your fresnel position(1th <-> 2nd), and test one more time.
: projection lens project 2nd fresnel's virtual image. so you can use another vitual image. if another virtual image is suitable for your projection lens, some of problem will be fixed. if not fixed, change again.
- if not fixed, combine 1th and 2nd. And place combined lens at 1th position. and test one more time.(1th+2nd -> LCD -> projection lens)
: this combination has better focusing ability than 1th -> LCD -> 2nd combination. but this combination need LCD with wide viewing angles. this combination use real LCD image, not virtual image.
- if not fixed.... find another projection lens.
bye ^^

Guyz, now I know what caused this. First, if you are using the common setup, like :
1. 12,2"x12,2" dual focals fresnels (220 & 330mm) in split setup.
2. 15" LCD
3. 320mm Triplet (Hell, I even use the 342mm triplet still no good)
then,
YOUR CENTER AND IT'S SURROUNDINGS AREA WILL FOCUS BUT YOU WILL NEVET GET THE CORNERS TO FOCUS.
In other word, the corners will be slightly off focus. This is because the limittation of the lenses. And I'm sure by using the large fresnels and larger diameter triplet will fix this for sure. Or........you can choose to go to 7" LCD way. Like Ace, I-Eat-Flower, Bfourcade, and others has done. Thanks for everyone that had helped me finding answers. Ace, I_Eat_Flowers, Tony Dean, etc.
I'm still waiting for anyone to proof me wrong though 🙂. But I need pictures of evidence and some info on how to make it 100% focused corners to corners. Thank you guyz....
So....anyone....???😀

Every projection lens has their document size(projectable size).
That triplet has large document size. Usually projection lens's document size depend on focal length.
If your triplet's focal length is 330mm, that means you can use your triplet for 12"*12" area. 14"*14" also possible.
If your triplet's focusing is bad for your eye, find vari-focal lens like this one. most of vari-focal lens has nice ability, and this one is outstanding.

Larger size lens has difficulty in focusing than smaller lens. if you try to use large size lens, you can understand.
this is another expert's projector(using large size lens).
