I added a ground to the neg battery to chassis now it took away the thump when I hit my brakes and switch stations ect but now when I make a sharp turn or stop short, hit a small bump the amp turns off. I have 3 and all turn off as 1st controlls others with remote wire.. don't say check speakers loose wires ect cause when I take the neg to chassis off the problem is gone and amps stay on so how can this neg to chassis upgrade be causing this issue. Even my HU would flicker on certain bumps. I left the factory ground also as I don't want to rip stuff apart and ruin harnesses ect. I only have the neg to chassis on right now to figure it out so only this part of big 3 is done until I figure it out any help appreciated.. it's a stumper.

Your remote wire could be grounding to the chassis. Disconnect the old remote wire at both ends then run a temporary remote wire through the car and hook it up. The factory ground probably isn't very good. Let us know what you figure out.

Can I add a ground on top of a existing ground ? I have 3 , - to engine , - to chassis, engine to chassis.. do I need upgrade all 3 ? And u mean run a remote from a fuse ect not hu? My one now is from head unit , with no added ground I have zero issues.. also off topic but it I run 2 4 awg wires twisted together at both ends but separate wires will it act as a zero or bigger gage ??
For troubleshooting purposes, try hooking the remote wire to the head unit first, then if that doesn't fix it, try with it ran to power with a fuse and a switch. Two 4awg wires have about the same cross sectional area as 1awg wire. I may be wrong, but I don't see any problems with adding additional grounds in parallel with the factory ground.

I will add a pic today, I added it at factory location along with the factory ground. YET I took it off and now when I add it it no longer takes the thump away when I hit breaks and all works well besides thump sounds when I turn stuff on and off ect. That was why I added this ground to stop that yet first time it took all thump sounds away YET shut amps off and HU flickered but now I add it again to troubleshoot stuff and it no longer solves the issue and now the ampsbstay on as if the ground does nothing.. keep in mind that I added a - to chassis ground only not the rest of the big 3 upgrade yet.
