Planet10 - I like those fake corners! I may want a pair of those one day.
gychang... that's the closest replacement to the old RS pod super tweeters. If i didnt have the RS i would buy that Fostex.
Since the treble is really pretty darn good (with any of the fostex full rangers i've tried) even without a tweeter i have a difficult time justifying any of those super expensive super tweeters (i have been down the expensive Dynaudio/Vifa/Morel tweeter route years ago). Personally, for a rear mounted application like mine, i cannot see spending more than the $37 per tweeter.
For your famous 'cheap' BIB, if you feel a rear firing tweeter would help out on top, i recommend this (also cheap) piezo.

I see it's on special today for $1.15. A 20 ohm resistor and cheap cap adds some air and sparkle.

The Fostex is more detailed and sweeter sounding but for cheap the piezo is great IMO.

thanks Godzilla.
I will order the tweeters, can u point me to the correct L-pad, resistor, and capacitor on partsexpress? (I don't know anything about electronics but can solder if given a simple schematic and u seemed to know these things).
I am actually building a metronome and may even try there on the top of the pyramid!
I am looking forward to experimenting...
