Hello everyone. Happy New Year. I Installed the TSE back into my system after changing the coupling caps back to the Audiocap Theta from the Clarity CAP MA that were in there. It has been playing for the last 3 weeks. I swapped the 45 tubes to a pair of Westinghouse I got from FleaBay. I went to check bias and the R channel reads 1.2 and does not respond to adjustment. I shut down when adjustment could not be done. It played fine last night.
I tried a couple different 45 tube pairs and same result.

I guess I would start by pulling the power tube from the bad channel, and measuring the bias voltage on the control grid at the tube socket , and make sure it is adjustable through the full operating range. You can use the good channel as your reference limits.
Since you just changed a coupling cap, that would be on my suspect list. You might want to lift the leg of that cap nearest the power tube that won't bias, and make sure there is no dc voltage on that side of it. I. E. make sure it is actually doing what it is supposed to do - block the dc from the preceding stage.

I got -105 v to -20 left side and -97 volts to -18 volts right side
I had been listening to these coupling caps for the last three weeks
I had the TSE out of my system for around 10 months along with my preamp and listening to my Naim integrated and devoting most of my time to my 1983 Harley Shovelhead.

the plate voltage is 309 w/out tubes and 278 with. I believe I found my problem possibly the combo of the tube socket and some corrosion of the tube pins. Cleaned up pins with fine steel wool and Deoxit and adjust the contact for the tube socket that feeds plate voltage,
