Do not connect any load (speaker) during the settings. The output is next to the trimpot.
thank you all so much for your generous help..... finally i understand the process, as i cant access the emitter resistor, ( which connects to the D1047 and speaker out ) I am measuring the same points, but just a little before and after , in terms of distance on PCB
seems obvious ( now ) but i would never have thought of it 😕🙂
if all goes well, then i have you guys to thank....if i mess it up, my next thread on here will be. - how to replace blown up transistors - 🙂. OR. -- hifi audio is overated, ive bought a guitar ------

i will not.... but can i take the reading with the speaker + output cable connected? or does it need to be removed to get an accurate reading ?
( the speaker + output goes to a speaker protection circuit )
