bi wiring

I have a pair of Tannoy Monitors and only recently bi-wired them after reading that it does make a difference. I am convinced that it sounds better - more clarity on the high end and better sound stage and imaging. I used my 30 year old monster speaker cable for the woofers and Cat 5 for the tweeters.

this is what I intend to do at the moment itseems just one singular run cable there's enough cable thickness to make te speaker side bike wire
(this is not my cable just a eBay pic of another one )

Not sure what the issue is? The cable looks fine - just connect it and hear if it makes a difference. Nothing to loose.

Could be a snake oil theory, but I am certain I can hear an improvement. Difficult to do an A/B comparison.

Remember when all the popular manufacturers sold bi-wired enabled speakers a few years ago?
Those same manufacturers no longer make bi-wired speakers throughout most of their range as they state it doesn't provide any worthwhile benefits , what does that tell you?
Bi-wiring was just another marketing fad .

Incremental improvement. Single wiring puts the summation of the complex crossover sections at the load end of the speaker wire. Bi - wiring put the summation at the source where the amplifier can deal with reactive loads better without the loads influencing each other at the speaker. Again, incremental improvement. Bi - amping, especially with active xo is a huge improvement but at a huge cost.

Bi - wiring costs little and provides a little improvement.

You get what you pay for.
