Bi-amping question

If I wish to experiment with bi-amping in order to split the preamp singnal to two signals do I just simply add a parallel L&R output from the preamp?

Preamp is a JFETBOZ.

My desire is to use one amp to drive the tweeters and another to drive the woofers.

As of this point my experiments will include:
JFETBOZ
Aleph Mini-A
F5
Zaph Audio SR71 bookshelf speakers

Thanks in advance

Hi,
stop.

There may be confusion here.
In the UK, bi-amping means using two amplifiers to drive the passive crossover in the two way speaker.

In the US, bi-amping seems to be used to mean creating an active speaker, using a line level crossover feeding 2amplifers, each amplifier directly connected to a driver with no passive crossover.

Which are you referring to?

Hi,
has boz used an output resistor to help stabilse the pre-amp when capacitive cables are used as interconnects?

If yes, then simply add a second resistor of the same value.
Take one feed from each resistor to the power amps.

If there are no resistors required at the pre-amp output then I suggest you add a pair of 51r. Again taking one feed from each 51r to the power amps.

I think it'll sound more balanced with the mini-A (higher gain) driving the woofer (lower sensitivity) and the F5 (lower gain) on the tweeter (higher sensitivity)...well just for kicks try it both ways to find out.
