One year and a half later, i have my pure audio clones built. Eminence beta 15 and mark audio drivers.
I have sony vfet diy mono blocks and the apex a14. The pre amp is a Ba-3 with low gain. The power/gain difference is 16db for the vfet and 39 for the AX14. One is ~20watt 8ohm and the other is 150w/8ohm. I need to use this amps. What would you do to make this work together? I already have a crossover that i can mod to my needs in terms of crossing frequencies. Any modifications to the ax14?
