My BGW pro 250e will run at low volume indefinitely, but when I send it a full line level signal to it, it shuts down in less than a minute and won't give any output. I opened up the box and looked for obvious stuff - bad solders, burned components or stuff that gets real hot. I saw a few guys who were familiar with BGW amps like "amp-guy" and "Mark A. Gulbrandsen" and wondered if anyone had a though on the possible cause/fix.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did anyone go in the amp and mess with the bias adjustment? Does the Amp get real hot when you do this? Is your main caps showing any sign of leakage? Check your main rails and you will find that the offset is probably wrong. You might have an electrolytic cap failing in your power regulation circuit as well.
