Here are the 750B and 250 manuals, if that helps any. Normally the diode pcb footprint has a
heavy line at the cathode lead, like the diode itself always has. Can you post a photo of your pcb?https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/bgw/750.shtml

I have 2 dead BGW 750b's. I have one board that seems to have several parts that have exploded.
I am hoping to get 1 working one out of the 2 and use the other to build a L20 style amplifier.
But I am following this and other BGW threads on here. Massive and well built amp.

Thanks.
Srinath.

It´s a stereo amplifier, meaning both channels "should" be the same.

I´d either repair the dead channel, worst case if the PCB is nuked, clone the good one, OR gut it and build 2 x L20 amplifiers or whatever.

Given that it must match available space, supply, connectors, heatsink, etc. , repairing/cloning is by far the best and most realistic option.
