Partly depends on your SPL requirements. I'm happy with the Neo8-S down to between 250-400Hz, the normal Neo8 only to about 650Hz, but I'm rather picky.

BG Radio 880 uses 6 Neo 10 and 16 Neo 3 in a line array down to about 150 Hz. That many BG drivers will not be cheap. I looked at them to go with my Tympani woofers. You can build a smaller array, more like the IRS Beta.

I think building a BG Neo 8s and TPL-150 would be nice. Also wouldnt mind building studiotechs surrounds he built a while back.

Lots of people have gone that route, so why not give it a try? I like EMIMs and NEOs and have played with both.

That’s interesting. I would like to experiment more with horn loading the Neo8 after very good results in my Summer Rain Front Horn. The Neo8 has huge potential. Do you think they are manufacturing these again or is this just old stock?
