15G40E 37Hz FS , 7mm Xmax
15LX60V2 42 Hz FS , 9mm Xmax
15POFe 41 Hz FS, 7.4 mm X max
SM-115 KE 27 Hz FS, 7.5 mm X max

None of the drivers have large Xmax by today’s standards, and the SM-115 KE is the only driver of the suggestions with an FS below 30 Hz.

That said, they all could be considered suitable for “subwoofer use”.

You need to define what you are looking for in a subwoofer to see if these speakers can provide what you want.

These are some serious quality drivers. A couple of them will give you 58 mm of pp travel before you reach physical limit another is 52 mm. I am sure they have price tags to match. None of these drivers have huge linear travels as was mentioned but never the less they are more than capable of moving some serious air and they are not likely to let you down any time soon.
Nobody has said anything much about these driver past the obvious. The question was "You need to define what you are looking for in a subwoofer to see if these speakers can provide what you want". How can anybody tell you that they will do if they do not know what it is you want them to do? Best regards Moray James.
