I would like to try an ople baffle project without spending a fortune on it, something along the lines of Kuei Yang Wang's setup with the spravox. Which drivers should I consider on a good price/pref. ratio?
I'll be travelling to Spain and the prices of the Beyma drivers there are very atteactive: http://www.citysound.net/indicex.asp?indice=ARAAAFCA
How do old divers like Sabas hold up against newer drivers?
Thanks in advance.🙄

Hi swak,
you shouldn´t take to the Beymas before you have read this (in german):

Don´t forget to also read the later postings of Norbert on that board regarding his CHIARE OB.

I agree, if you can get those Chiare drivers, it would be a cost-effective way to experiment.
There are several other threads running on the subject of open-baffle speakers (and choice of drivers) which you should find useful.
