wanted to find out from users if this driver is what the data says? It looks to have the smoothest widest response of any comp driver I have seen. Any user comments? I am considering a two way low crossover home monitor. Thanks best regards Moray James.
At a price of almost $400 each, I don't know if you'll find many users. It does look great on paper, doesn't it? About the only thing I can add to this conversation is, I've never liked the sound of titanium diaphragms. I'll take aluminum or a polymer diaphragm over a titanium one any day of the week.
Thanks for the input. I can't say I have seen the like of it even Radian is not so extended as these are. There is little on line about Beyma in general. Not much by way of used sale either though I expect that is a good sign. I understand your concern regarding the price but if you think about it four hundred dollar woofers are a dime a dozen and as PWK once said "we live in the mid range". I would have to save up for a considerable time to buy pair of these. I have a pair of aluminum diaphragms with Mylar surrounds and I like them, I also have ti diaphragms and like them as well. These are titanium diaphragms with Mylar surrounds I imagine that helps but I fear this is one of those times where you simply have to pay your money and take your chance. Thanks again for the comments. Best regards Moray James.

Well, price in europe is more appealing, just can buy a pair for 240€!
and yes they are great also in non professional use. In fact probably the best for the price (also consider the CP380M, cheapper and also great).
It looks good, but I'm not seeing exceptional smoothness from the spec. sheet. The horns, of course, are in the way, but for example, vs. DE250 spec (Beyma in blue):
