I heard of several EU countries employing straightup thieves in their mail and carrier services.
The box weight should have been recorded at the origin. That would help to shine some light on the situation.
As far as PP, credit card, or banks they provide ZERO help. They already made the commission and they have no incentive to reverse charges.

For what it’s worth. I opened my package and all is inside just as KLYPSO had described it… Address is from Nancy and in fact I sent him the money with bank transfer so he could have just spared the shipping charges as well…
The package weight is determined at the office so it is really strange that they said 3kg and it was just papers. For me the drivers were probably stolen in transit.
My package weight was put on the label as 5kg and Bulgarian post has written 3,260kg on it.

I would never accept anything else than a "friends and family" payment if i would sell anything.
Sellers get scammed to.
Buyers claiming they got an empty box or change his mind and sending back an empty box, from what i read paypal usually believe the buyer.

I didn't want to go down that road and bring up a few of my gripes with big tech and 'the man' in general, but since you brought it up... yes, I like to pay FF and operate outside fleecebay whenever possible. Bartering is the future anyways. 😉

I never send Paypal F&F as buyer...sorry...
If I feel like taking a Gamble, I always just send normal way and say Ooops.....if he returns the $$ and demands F&F, I won't / don't.

Yeah, but buyers rarely want to buy their protection. I recently sold old demo unit for a fraction of a new price. It was straight from the dealer's shelf . After two weeks Paypal took on hold equivalent value on hold because buyer filed a case stating that it was too old to be sold as demo and he doesn't want it. So I had to send the refund shipping included. Can't win those cases
I have paid for hundreds of items f&f and have never had a problem. When I sell I leave it up to them. I'm typically dealing with forum regulars with a track record.
I experienced this exact scenario when buying a PA amp with constant promises to despatch, but nothing received. I reported him online to Action Fraud (the transaction was within the UK) and forwarded all the information to the seller. I received an almost instant email reply and the amp arrived a few days later.
I hope that the OP has recourse to something like this.

Sorry to hear about this, Alberto. Just for the record, I have bought from and sold to realman, and he is rock solid. It is still funny that KLYPSO sent something to other buyers and now this comes up.
Interesting to hear that contesting a PPF payment with your CC company works, at least in the US. In Germany, even if CC is the primary method of payment, the account needs to be linked to a bank account, too. I suspect PP would just take it out of your bank account after a CC chargeback. Yes, you can reverse a bank account charge if you are quick enough, but then you can probably kiss your PP account goodbye.
Another word of warning: ebay-kleinanzeigen.de, renaming to kleinanzeigen.de later this month (ebay have already sold most of their stake, maybe getting rid of the remainder) is really teeming with scammers. Problem there seems to be that you can request a password reset, and unlike other sites, they will tell you if there is an account for the email. So once a hacker knows that, they can try all the known passwords. And you can't even know which country the scammer is in.
I have had a good eye so far on spotting scammers and avoiding PPF payments on these. However, I got badly scammed two years ago. Bought a large piece of garden furniture. Seller seemed genuine from the back and forth and was also selling low value stuff like used toys and clothing. I thought bank transfer to a German bank account was safe because you need to show ID when you open a bank account. Turns out N26 bank has been lax with this, and there are also straw men who register an account with legit ID while in Germany and then leave the country. I reported to the police and they found the account belonged to a person with no known residence in the EU, and the money had been transferred abroad as soon as it got in.
I agree with mordikai, never been bitten on diy forums.

I sometimes offer to cover the PP fees. If the seller refuses outright, this is not a good sign. Of course, the seller may have been scammed by a buyer in the past, but when that comes up, something can usually be worked out.I never send Paypal F&F as buyer...sorry...

PayPal shifts "protection" (aka risk) from buyer to seller and then takes a fee. almost every form of finaciance works this way (possibly a confusing statement).
If a buyer insists on PayPal with fees and you don't want to loose that money, look for another buyer, no?
I mostly pay no fees on here. and if i want fees sometimes, i pay for them, and it's usually so the buyer can print shipping labels in PayPal, so they save on shipping.
People know most of the people on here, in a sense.

Nah, not necessary. DiyAudio has run a swap meet page for 23y without any serious issues. If it ain't broken don't fix it.
Any member with more that a few years tenure as member is a very solid guy.
@capslock:
I don't think throwing member names around here for positive or negative reasons is helpful.
Forane12 is the only one that has suffered an unfortunate loss and that has a valid claim.

I guess I made my own point. 🤣 People make mistakes, better let the parties sort these things privately and avoid misunderstandings.

Raelman, what weight was on the package from shipping and what weight is the pacage you received. This will determine if you were scammed by the seller or had your items stolen in transit.
Please be fair to him and let us know.

The seller got in contact with me. Both have asked mondial relay for weight when shipping and when delivering. I got no answer from mondial Relay but teh seller says they told him to give an answer in one week.
I really guess that somebody stole the content. I would lost my money anyway (I have lost it for sure) but that would probe the seller is a honest person at least.
If you don't mind, let's keep this post in Standby untill we have news.
Thanks to all for your support.
