Spotted a picture of the PMC Prodigy 5 (£5k speakers) crossovers on AVForums and looks like they are using Bevenbi capacitors, not a manufacturer I had heard of and not much info doing a search. PMC use the MKPA C version (upper mid range). They also have a MKPA S top range that are "MKP Silver" and 3% tolerance. There is also a MKPA E lower end range that another forum suggests are better for woofer parallel use.
These look very keenly priced, especially the S model - example for a 6.8uF capacitor in UK - Bevenbi MKPA S 400V = £21.25, Bevenbi MKPA C 400V = £4.61. For a 56uF capacitor - Benenbi MKP E 400V = £11.17. (from eBay)
Compare this to - Jantzen - 6.8uF Silver = £36.01, 6.8uF Standard = £5.56 and 56uF cross cap = £24.89 (from Hifi collective incl VAT)
Anyone used these capacitors in a Speaker Crossover and care to give their thought ?

Another fairly economical option compared to Jantzen, Mundorf etc.

Using your thread to ask , a curiosity , If we're talking about capacitors, anyone used Monacor MKPA , MKTA ?.
They might not be to the hi end standard, but I've heard good things.
I have only tested some tweeters from Monacor so far.

JFcomponents has the C as their house branded caps. People seem to like them. I bought 3 pair of the S version, so I'll be finding out....
