My partner and I are getting hiched ( married ) in February; and we are debating this question ourselves.
As children of the 60's and 70's we are drawn to classics like Carol King and Simon and Garfunkel, but we have chosen Handel and the "Halleluyah Chorus" as appropriate for the final vows.

Trooper - Iron Maiden
"You take my life but I'll take yours too
You fire your musket but I'll run you through......"
Seriously,
We've only just begun - Carpenters
Just loved Karen's voice, still get tears in my eyes.. really moving and full of hope.

Maybe "Wedding Song" By Bob Dylan:
I love you more than ever, more than time and more than love,
I love you more than money and more than the stars above,
Love you more than madness, more than waves upon the sea,
Love you more than life itself, you mean that much to me.
I love you more than ever, more than time and more than love,
I love you more than money and more than the stars above,
Love you more than madness, more than waves upon the sea,
Love you more than life itself, you mean that much to me.
I'm surprised "I Knew the Bride When She Used to Rock'n'Roll" by Nick Lowe hasn't become a standard at wedding receptions. It's great! When I got married 25 years ago I had just two requests of the band. I asked them to learn this song (They didn't.), and I told them I wouldn't pay them if they played "Feelings". At least they got that right.
