ps have seen threads on ATF as a lube.
i use pressurized air and toothpicks ....🙄
take apart the transport, then try to push all the old lube away from the gears by blowing it away usign the pressurized air ( i use air cans, always keep then vertical ) then remove the blops of old sticky lube with the toothpicks, repeat the process until all is very clean and then use the right type of lube (for metal or plastic gears, dont lubricate metal to plastik) try to avoid cotton or fabric as cleaning materials as they will leave little fibers...repeat the process until you are sure all the old lube is replaced by the new one....also, use some oil for the bearing/bushings, and be careful of not aplying too much lube ..
good luck
