I am trying to decide between a 10k or 50k panasonic evj pot from digikey to use in my sonic impact amp. Would a 50k sound better in shunt mode with a 10k resistor with a high quality resistor or would it be better to use a 10k with no shunt resistor? Thanks for your time guys, Kevin.
