Anyone have any ideas about how the F5 will sound with Tannoy iiiLz's? I'm thinking of building one but do find the iiiLz's quite bright
stuart
F5 will work just fine
if they're harsh/bright , that's xover problem
The crossover shown for the dual concentric has two switched controls. One for roll off of the Treble and the other for Treble level. these give a massive range of adjustability.
Hi all,
I'm waiting for the components from gbs to build my fresh f5!
I'm thinking to mate it with seas balders (OB).
My second choice is Troels Gravesens Acapella speakers.
Any opinions? About the crossover thing, maybe I'll play a little with minidsp. But I'm worried if I have problems with f5+minidsp.
Suggestions are most welcome!
PS: I'm uber novice with speakers. (If someone could expain to me what is the dumping factor of an amp/speaker and how we use it to match speakers with amps I'll be grateful)
