Siamese Dream is a sensational album - but then I am a huge Pumpkins fan.

I've always liked the production in Beck albums, especially Sea Change.
Not to everyone's taste, but I also think Nine Inch Nails stuff is well recorded.

I quite like really early Bob Dylan stuff too, for some reason. Probably because its just him, a guitar and harmonica, and so quite easy to record.

That BBC series is very good. I've seen a few. The other week I saw the one about Fleetwood Mac's Rumours. Really interesting.

I'm not a big radiohead fan, but In Rainbows sounds astonishing. It is heavily processed, but none the less I've never heard a recording with so much ambiance, texture and depth. There are songs on there that make you think your underwater. I would say they are definitely masters of the studio. I think they worked on it for about 18 months...

I've been looking for that. I caught the Steely Dan Aja and Metallica Metallica episodes.
I've been searching for the wrong title.

Radiohead's Ok computer is an interesting, absorbing listen. It gets into your head and makes you feel rather anxious and distressed. At an artistic statement it is good, but far from relaxing.

I can feel the strings striking each other on the upright bass on this one. My speakers vanish while listening to it. Very well recorded.

I never gave acoustic jazz a real listen. I found this in the dollar used bin at newbury comics a couple years ago and lost track of it. Glad it unearthed itself - I've found a new genre.

I am a really big fan of the Floyd,D. Gilmour and the other guys solo stuff, Rick Wright's first solo album sounds good and Rog's "Amused To Death" sounds absolutely fantastic.
I was disappointed with the sound of Gilmour's "On An Island" though, a very "flat" (sorry, could not think of any other way of describing it) sounding collection of great songs.

Marc Cohn's self titled album, for production, though is superb, every track is just wonderfull.
