Best Power supply for class A transistor power amp?

Hello Dyers, I`m looking for the best possible schematics for the above, I'm going to build a power amp in class A and I want to know, which PSU is considered the best, and why ? Thanks !

Transformer - Rectifier - Capacitors
It does no have to be so complicated.
Special amplifiers can need some CRC filter on the supply. And additional capacitance.
But mostly it is simple.

I will be using Prasi's LT4320 active rectifiers boards for my class A amps.

I would consider the PSRR of the amp and whether a stabilised or low ripple supply would be a benefit. Maybe separate stabilised supplies for the front end and unregulated for the outputs. It is all amp specific really.

There are many ways to do the supply.
But as Mooly tells - it is all dependent of the need of the amplifier.

If you need a low ripple power supply, then replace the resistor with an inductor for CLC. An LC filter is much more efficient than a RC filter.

erm we have some nice designs in here , but still we are looking for the best guys ! Some mosfets to get some juice or not ?

Properly done, linear regulation has to go beyond the cursory requirements of the amplifier ratings. The regulator should be capable of ten times the current of the continuous output of the amplifier channel.The regulator should be preceded and followed by large capacitances with values comparable to those needed for unregulated circuits. The transformer size still needs to be as big as that used in an unregulated circuit. Approached in this manner, linear active regulation delivers the goods.

Have you read Nelson's thoughts on this from his Power Supply paper?

amp is mine invention nothing fancy 2 pp with 2SC5200/2SA1943 , power is not a factor here , aiming for a cleaner signal so i really do not care about , desired voltages to be powered around +35 to -35 V , BEST for me is less distortion and true bass 😉

I am going to test one with a 19,5v laptop PSU. With a 4700uF capacitor most of the 40kHz ripple will be gone.
I did count with 0,1 ohm 7 uH in the cable. Output 4w 8 ohm wich is enough for a pair of desktop speaker at my monitors.

Early Adcom 5200 and 5300 had common rails (with front end separated by just RC), but then later 5200 and 5300 got separate L and R front end (with higher V) and OS windings, which is a BIG improvement.
