I've searched. I'm about to give up. I can't find any reputable place to get my 565 input board properly repaired. MJR Audio hasn't returned emails. Neither has EBC electronics in NJ. Both seemingly experienced in the nuances of the Adcom gfa 565.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you VERY much!

GFA repair
What problem are you having with the input board, it it burnt? What state are you located in?

I did. The repair station in GA is the one I tried the first and second time. They did a poor job as the amp failed again. Twice. All at the tune of $500.
Thanks for the link to Big Sky. I sent the amps to EBC prior to getting this info. Seems the guy really knows these amps.
I'll report back...
Your welcome, it seems big sky does the repair and a couple of other things to improve the sound for about the same costI did. The repair station in GA is the one I tried the first and second time. They did a poor job as the amp failed again. Twice. All at the tune of $500.

Holy thread revival!
I did send them to EBC and they worked fine. The repair lasted 3 years before one of the amps began to pop really bad on shut down. The other went way out of spec on DC offset. EBC offered a break on the repair price for the return. Since it's $90 each way to ship the pair I began to look for a local option. $180 in just shipping would go a long way toward a repair. Atlanta is a big place.
I've found an extremely knowledgeable repair expert right here in Atlanta!!! Bennie at Modular Electronics in Alpharetta GA really knows these amps. He owns a pair himself that he's restored. His prices are very reasonable but he's popular so it was 3 weeks. I took that as a good sign. His shop was filled with high end equipment for repair. High dollar fancy shmancy stuff that cost more than my car. I'm pleased to say they are back to shaking my neighbors houses! They sound better than they ever have and I couldn't be happier. Here's his website for those interested.

Hi John,
Thought I would chime in, albeit a bit late 😛. I apologize for not return any emails, but am doing repairs anymore at this time. So glad to hear you found a local shop that could get the unit repaired. I hope you enjoy the amps for a long time to come!
