Third edition of the datasheet at NEC site

300:1 CR and 21 ms RT mentioned here

You and me could build a really small projector with this one and with shorter FL fresnel for collimination and maybe a glass lensfor condensing the image for the projection lens. Seems also that the picture scanning can be reversed (no mirrors needed). Use with DE 150/250W HQI lamp and Epia-M & DVD-ROM.

Price, where to get that? If someone could by a whole stock of them he could sell them for us for less...

Got a price quotation from Displaze, £430 pc. (about 650 EUR/$) Too expensive for me when compared to TFT monitors. Pulled LDVS pane + Kontron APG card would be the best solution. I think the APG will cost about 100 - 150 EUR. Too bad most pulled LCD's are too slow (>50 ms RT ~ tr+td) and have usually the contrast of about 200:1. Of the most inexpensive TFT monitors the Samtron's 51S 15" have quite good specs too: 330:1 CR and 25 ms RT for half of the price of the NEC 6.3" XGA LVDS panel.
