I have been working with the Cardas Quad Eucetic solder and was wondering what would be the best liquid flux to use with this solder?
I was looking at Kester flux pens but there are so many different versions of their flux I am not sure which would work the best. IS there any suggestions for the soldering guru's around here?

no flux needed

Hello.

I recently purchased the same type of Cardas solder as you are using for a vintage power amp rebuild. I contacted Cardas to find out if any flux was needed and the recommended soldering iron temperature. No flux was needed. The melting point of the solder is around 310 degrees F, and the irons they use are 80 watt with temperature adjustment.

Good luck.
62 and about done in.
