The Maplin 225WRMS 2N3055/MJ2955 amp used BD711 and BD712 drivers.

Rotel uses 2SB817/2SD1047 in there Big Amps.
upto 200w? These are 140vce parts and can't take +/-90vdc railed amps in the 250-350watt range, so i wonder what they used in their 380watter.
Adcom 555 mk.II also uses them s drivers with +/-84vdc rails, I guess the 33 ohm ER's saves them. I can't recall if its Cambridge or some other Brit amp that used them as OP devices. They have decent gain.
