I have been reading that many use Belden cables for signal inside chassies and of all those I think that the one sticking out is Belden 89259.
Now my question is, there are other options like Belden 1855A that is also a coaxial cable, 75 Ohm and with solid core and even 23 AWG instead of 22 AWG as for the Belden 89259, which to choose....??
Price difference is notable so why not 1855A that cost 7 times less than the 89259??

We use 1855 at work but the terminations are always Kings BNC connectors. How are you terminating the cable? If soldering by hand the 89259 looks like it might be less of a pain as the center conductor insulation in 1855 is very fragile and the foil under the braid would be annoying too. If you're using crimp on connectors the main issue will be the crimp tool.

I have seen many people here use coaxial cables were the solid core is for signal and the shield as ground soldered directly to pcb:s and contacts.
That is my question, is there then any difference between the two then?
My standard soolution otherwise is to use 0.2 mm solid copper cable for signal but as said, I have seen many using coaxial cables for in chassie signals, thats why I wonder.

For short audio interconnect there is no difference. Both are good quality coax. Differences are mechanical: size, flexibility etc.
My experience tells me the opposite with a Squeezebox and just 15 cm length with 4 different cables ! (it was with a Squeezebox and the Subbu DAC with true 75 ohms plugs everywhere from the source to the dac !)
Belden provides very good coax 75 ohms, sometimes a basic TV one gives better result at ears (not universal, you have to try = try&error). Of course no Worth to spend 100 dollars on it either !
If you can have 1 meter of each Belden (not alway easy) : try both. But between two Belden, you are not in the worst existential situation. As you said, good cable and manufacterer :at the end you will take a Belden (but try also a basic TV cable, you may be surprised, the Belden being cheap as well though).

I'm using some belden 1694a now. Figured if it is good enough for professional broadcast digital video, it can handle audio frequencies fine, only downside is that it is stiff for interconnects.
Just reread your post. I have used 1505a inside chassis once or twice. I don't think its worth the hassle over twisting a couple of wires at the inout and output jacks.
