Hello Everybody!
I am repairing a LX210 for the kid of a friend. For some reason that escapes me this is a stereo set. Two power amps and and two speakers. One of the power amplifiers was dead and has been replaced. Power amplifers are both well now.
There is a board with output jacks and some controls on it on the rear panel. On this pcb a very narrow pcb track has melted and opened the way a fuse would. It was connected to the ground lifter switch. I fixed that as well.
But still, one of the channels is quiet. No signal gets to the power amplifier.
On the o.m. board there are some analog multiplex chips HCF4053. In SMD.
Now this is (I guess) impossible to track down without a schematic. I assume that one or more of the multiplexers has (have) been damaged and the signal gets lost somewhere in there.
Does anybody hold a schematic and is willing to share it?
The LX1200 seems to be the same electronics without built in speakers. So, a manual of that unit would be fine, too.
Thanks!

Are both sides of headphones up to level or is one side dim there too?
Got a couple XLR direct outs? Are they even or skewed too.

Sorry for taking so long and thanks for your reply.
In fact both headphone outputs are not working properly. One is dead the other one is almost quiet.
Both give nice scratching sounds when I turn the Master pot. The pot is dirty but that gives me the chance to say that the headphone amp is working.
I checked the XLR and the 1/4" outputs on the back. One channel has signal the other is dead.
Now, the Master control is an old fashioned pot. All other controls seem to be digital and connectod to some mysterious sound processor. The signal chain in this unit is quite confusing as well. I cannot see where the the signal goes to or comes from. Where does it enter the digital domain where it gets analog again?
Still in need of a schematic....
