I just bought a new EP2000 amplifier and for curiosity I immediately opened the cover to take a look inside: so I found the boards to be named EP1500 🙂 REV. F.
It appears to be simply an EP1500 with raised supply voltage in order to reach the 350W/8 instead of the 260W of the EP1500.
The supply voltage measured at idle is around 166V (+-83V), while the EP1500 should be 156V (+-78): does anyone of You have an EP1500 and check this?
The fan is constantly supplied vith 20V, so it does't change its speed with the temperature, even it the manual states "countinously variable speed fan"
