The Behringer DEQ2496 has a slow problem. When you switch from one Midi Patch to another eg: Channel 3 to channel 4 there is a 2 second pause. Its not instant. Is there a way to speed things up & remove this annoying delay?

I would imagine that the main processor controls this. The circuit probably mutes the outputs, (taking a second or so), switches the program, then unmutes the outputs, (againg taking a second or so). You could remove the muting circuit, but then you will most likely get switching noise that could damage your speakers.
Why do you want it to switch faster anyway?

Why would you want to switch the midichannel?
That seems to me -a once in a setup- alteration.
Al other midi stuff seem to be pretty fast enough.

Now I understand why you stated "Unlikely, but you never know."

I mainly use the 2496 for my guitar...its very important that there is no delay between patchs...
