Behringer cx3400 crossover

I have bi-amped 3-way speakers, crossed with the cx3400. I use the behringer only as a 2-way crossover @ 300 hz. Can I use the low-sum fuction to add an active subwoofer? I don't want to send the complete low-freq signal that now goes to the woofers to the sub in mono, but rather add the sub to take over only the lowest bass. The manual didn't help me any further...

Are you using RCA inputs? If so, are you just using a regular RCA adapter or are you using something special? I'm considering this xover again the DCX2496... I'm not sure if I actually need all of the DCX features.

i use a regular rca-xlr conversion cable. it works fuss and hiss free. i must say this is my second cx3400. i had the first returned under warranty. the first was hissy, and it had voltage on the case. got a few shocks from it:hot: they said they had repaired the unit, but they send me a complete new one:cannotbe:
waddevva... it works fine now!

Yes, bought it new. i just called the store i bought it when i found out it didn't work right. the told me to bring it back to the store, and they'd send it to Behringer Germany. 8 Days later I got the new one (they said it was the fixed unit, but i noticed a slight mark on the left sidepanel was no longer there).
