Hey guys,
Lately I been thinking of ditching my 10" powered subwoofer for a smaller 6.5" dual passive subwoofer. why? because I'm bored and I need something to do, so yeah.
I plan on purchasing:
1x Topping PA3
1x Fmod crossover 100Hz low pass
2x Peerless 830946
1x Parts Express bi-amp speaker wire terminal binding post
and wires
I designed the subwoofer box in autocad, so I have no idea how it would perform in real life. I plan on using the sub out from the Topping MX3, low pass to the Topping PA3 and power each woofer individually. I'm here because it's an idea and I do not know if it all work or not, so please help me.
How would it perform? Is it worth the hassle? What am I missing? How low will it go?

2 things,
1/passive? Then what is the FMod for? An FMod is just a poorly implemeted PLLXO. You can do better diying your own.
2/ anytime you have 2 drivers in a (sub)woofer you get a huge advantage by loading the drivers push-push so as to get active ractive force cancelation and a dramatically lower load on the box.
