Better still dip them in thinners or acetone for a few minutes. If they are made of any metal you will get a resistance of close to zero, anything else indicates an insulated coating.
I see. But I still can't understand Why they put a messy coating on them. Outside coating of spade is easy to clear. But Inside coating to contacting speaker wire is hard to clear. And the terminals I used to buy red copper were not coated. So, I am embarrassed because it is my first experience of clear coating.

I closed my AE account a couple of years ago after a request from a vendor .
I had emailed them asking for more info on a diy horn speaker kit and a few days later i got a strange reply .
They asked me to purchase a particular pair of exspensive trainers/sneakers from a well known brand then take high quality images of the item ,the box, labels and barcodes and email them .
If i did this for them they would send me a kit ' free ' of charge 🙂
I contacted AE 's customer service after this obviously shady request and got a generic
" You can buy with confidence as all purchases are protected by our money back guarantee blah blah " .
They didn't,or didn't want to ,understand my concerns .
Anyway i didn't DO IT 🙂

I like DH Gate and switched after several bad deals on aliexpress. So far... all purchases have been quickly shipped. One item did not arrive, I contacted the vendor, and he credited me immediately. Nearly 2 months later it showed up, lost in the Christmas rush. I contacted the vendor to pay him and he said not to worry about it. So that's my story.
I shop from Aliexpress. Just don't expect any customer service. They do not know what they sell. Just don't accept delivery untill you have tested it. I only have had problems when I have accepted delivery, and problems shows shortly after. Then you will get no refund. If you do not accept delivery, and you can't get an agreement, then aliexpress will help you.
I spent three months verbally "fencing" with a vendor through AE after I was sent factory reject amplifier case parts twice.
AE customer service didn't work so I ended up claiming through the credit card company that I used to pay for the item. I got my money back in the end.
The droning, monotonous, "make money above all else" mentality of the Chinese vendors that I have dealt with is tiresome. I've learned my lesson.

I have an account at TME in poland also. Good experience so far and very good prices also. But you can't get everything.
