If one wanted to take the basic Fostex/Rat Shack design BD Pipe and use a completely different driver (Audax HT130K0) how would one go about calculating the dims and port sizes?
Designing a pipe to meet the 44hz Fs is easy buy how to account for the "bi-pole" design ? Use the same Fs? wont the greater (2X) Vas effect it?

BD-pipes are a mass loaded TQWT. Usually you use the MArtin King software to model them. With 2 drivers you need 2x the cross-section.
The BD-Pipe is a guess & by golly design, with proper modeling something better should be achievable.

The line is optimized for a single driver (with either half the xSection or a composite driver with approprite specs) then the average position of the drivers is the optimum. In a push-push bipole that means at the optimum with drivers on opposite sides.
