Yes, Mouser for the BC550C definitely at $6.10 USD per 100 off..

Try the following for BC560C:

Reichelt Germany = 5 euro cents each for CDIL brand.
Cricklewood Electronics UK at 0.35 UK pence each, no brand mentioned. (expensive option)
Langrex in the UK at 1.79 GBP for 10 off Fairchild.
Tayda Electronics in Thailand for Fairchild at $0.08 USD each.

No problems Andreas and Prasi, it pays to do some research now and then especially on old parts. The BC550C is not obsolete (the BC560C is) and Mouser's price is $15.00 USD cheaper per hundred.

Even the obsolete Fairchild BC560C is cheaper at specialist dealers.

Yes, agreed, biggest i did was nearly 1300 pcbs and with 71 packets last year . very tiring and consumed my whole of evenings and weekends for 2-3 weeks just invoicing / packaging / labeling / shipping.
Many more hours in maintaining list/ address/ updating tracking info, etc.

Yes Mark and Prasi, participants in GB's don't realize the work that goes into organizing, carrying out and finalizing the GB - especially in the numbers you guys have done, I applaud you for the work and time you put into it.

I shipped most envelopes this morning except one that was missing payment (arrived today, so will ship this in the next few days).

I decided that I will not continue the group buy in this way. All the housekeeping and communication back and forth is just way over my head. I am not good with this stuff. If someone wants to take over from me, shoot me a PM.

Has anyone bought semiconductors from LANGREX, based in the U.K? Their 560/550 are labeled as Fairchild.

I have some of both from them. I’ll have more time later to do a pinout/hFE test and post some images here for evaluation.
