I purchased the "Battery Life Saver" perhaps more than a decade ago,

They offered 10% off of a new unit, which is ~$100+.

As much as I love to DIY most things, I'd personally just buy another one if they are still made to the same quality to last over 10 years.

Although having the heatsink from the old one could be a great starting point for your own version..
