How about running a LM3875 from +/-12v battery PSU? Anyone try it? The result?

if i could get my gaincone to sound reasonably good, i would hook up my 12v battery supply to it and see how it sounds.

BUT, gainclones dont play well with maggies...

Well, not an LM3875 specifically (Apex PA-02 and PA-16) but it's worked well for me.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

my OPA541/9 gainclone runs on +/-12v. its running at +/-15v at the moment, but when ive built the proper supply...

Yeah, but I'm not in very good shape at the moment. Met this hot babe from Jersey the other day. I about creamed my jeans. She said she was horny so we went to her place. But just as she was slipping out of her leather pants, her husband came home. So I had to hoof it on out of there quick. Unfortunately I was a bit too quick and pulled a muscle in my calf. It's not so bad though, I'm claiming it on Worker's Comp so I'm going to milk it for all its worth.
