Hi,
have recently install a new system in my car, im using JBL GT 3 way oval speakers in the back.. a 200w kenwood deck. when i put the balence on the left or the right spkr the bass is really good, but as a move the balence to the centre the bass just dissappear, its almost gone, even turning the bass setting up on the deck distorts the bass, but on L or R only its perfect.
any suggestions? thanks
regards,

It appears that your speakers are wired out of phase.
Reverse the + and - connections on one of the speakers.

Frank's hit the nail on the head, I just wanted to stress that you change the wires on only one of the speakers.
Improve it even more by tossing in an external amplifier. Your kenwood is probably 200Watts peak, not RMS. I'd guess more like 22W RMS/channel. A decent external amp will be well received by your ears.
