Is your Eminent really the older all tube version with the scarce and expensive ECC808's in the preamp section? Later versions feature tubes exclusively in the power amp section (ECC81, 2 x EL34). In general, it is a good and reliable amplifier, especially with NOS EL34's (note that high plate voltage!), but was not exactly designed for bass guitar or guitar use. Anyway, you might find it pleasant enough.
As for your speaker: No bass guitar speaker needs wizzer cones or even dedicated tweeters, not even for slapping. Quite the contrary, excessive treble might be annoying. Are there any transistorized Hammond (or other) organs available for next to no money locally? Then go and get one and harvest it's 12" or 15" woofer. Organ speakers are (bass) guitar speakers as well.
And for the bass guitar: You've got a complete Harley Benton Precision bass. So you've also got it's neck/headstock assembly. As this is the most complex part of any guitar, requiring dedicated machinery and skills to make, do you really want to attempt to build your own one?
Best regards!

From the end:
I built the kit, the complete kit and nothing but the kit - all perfectly machined. Had to ruin the headstock though.
There are old organs around in Sweden, some even for free. Dunno if you can watch this thread in our Swedish synth/music forum where dirt cheap or even give-aways are listed: Än Finns Det Gratisorglar.
I could maybe incorporate a kill switch for the tweeter - either 2-way system with X-over, or full range to woofer.
I get it it's the full-tube version. I have to go to Gothenburg this weekend and pick it up. The guy giving it away once got it for free and is now moving to a new home selling/giving old stuff. In our local music shops, simple rigs can be bough for €150 and more.
PS. If you ever find an organ cheap or for free in Sweden and want to pick it up, remember I live on the Westcoast and hour North of Gothenburg and may offer a place to stay for a night or two.

Got it, thanks! Wow, a Hammond H112 for free! Wish I'd also have that luck. But I'd never gut this organ, anyway.
Best regards!

Mu gosh; how lucky can you get? (I know) All those preamp sections!Dynacord Eminent II:
Anyway, all four channels feature mic inputs which are quasi balanced. I have several of those, albeit hybrid ones with transistorized preamp section.
Best regards!
Best regards!
The Dynacord is obvious an Eminent T (transistor inputs), but at least it's an amplifier that could come in handy.
After some jenka dancing (jenka is a Finnish dance where you jump two steps forward and one backward, but in my case the other way around) I officially declare that the bass guitar is finally finished. Screwed the last parts in place, but I have to tune the instrument (and I have mislaid the guitar tuner and don't even know if it could handle bass guitars) before starting to learn how to play, but here's a shot of Mag "Soundbrigade" Kessler, warming up ...
