Hi all,
UnixBox (and a few others) is saying that the recommended vented box for my driver is 20.5L with a Fb of 37Hz.
Ive seen quite a few kit designs using the same driver that use a much smaller bass-reflex box (like 15L) with a lower Fb.
If i put thier box configs into UniBox i get a nice smooth curve but with a higher F3.
Basically what i would like to know is; what are the sonic effects of going with a smaller box/lower Fb?
Im guessing that the smaller box and higher F3 gives better accuracy.... ???
Thanks.

Cost and/or aesthetics (or available premade cabinets) are the only likely advantages. Nothing wrong with either design.
