Maybe someone who knows arrays can help me. I toyed with the idea of running a fostex 3" in the kick panel of my car at about 350Hz and up, maybe a tweeter up high if needed....but I can aim the 3s so off axis is minimal. The way my car is, it would be easier to use a 2" full range, maybe a TB. So my question is I'd like to run 2 or 3 of them (for power handling) in a vertical line and what array issues would I have, I read I should only let one be the tweeter?
I can angle them so they are all same distance from my head, so it would be like mounting them together then half angled to center of car, upwards enough to be straight at head level. Or is this a bad idea? I would run 8" in the doors up to ~350Hz. I have a set of 3/4" tweeters I could run very high if needed, say 10K up and put near top of dash end. I would like to run about 60wrms on them, though I doubt I would ever max them out.
