Hello again,
I am just about to wire up the PCB To the AMP ENCLOSURE, the kit came with 16 gauge 300volt wires
My question is, can you mix 14 gauge wires, 300 volt stranded or solid
would this make any differences in the dynamics of the amp mixing copper wire and i do not know what the kit came with, but its silver in color standed
and solid core. core
Again any imput and newbee support would be appriciated thanks diy team !

Yes you can mix the wire types but solid is easier to work with if there is no flexing involved with mounting the board on its chassis.
I had issues with the large wires not passing though some of the various hardware pieces. I found myself removing a few strands in several places. No issues with sound!

So if i am using 19 strand wire and 9 strands are missing, would it interfere
with electrical connection? or in the case of Audio, missing strands, would it
comprimise the sound ?, another question why 19 strands ? if missing strands dose not harm circuitry why not just use one stranded thin wire? Im a newB that just wants to know everything,i don't know.

Jon,
so mixing stranded and solid core is okay, dose this hold true for different
AWG's on the same PCB or should i say same circuit ?
Thanks for your imput.

You can mix and match all you want as long as the wire has enough current capacity. The only exception is balanced lines, these should be a pair of the same wire. (Including transformer connections.)
Stranded or solid, no issues. Just make sure they will fit through the hole, cutting 8 strands out of 18 is not good!

I like solid core wire for signal wires, but try to stay away from solid core when wiring power grounds or chassis grounds. Stranded wire has less chance of breaking.
