Hey guys
So I've ordered BASH 500S from Parts Express and overlooked one super important thing, its that I cannot use it here in EU as we have 220VAC instead of the required 120VAC. Ive done some research and found out that the 300S model can be made to work by cutting out some 0 ohm resistors and soldering some jump wires [link: JJensen.se ]
I cannot do the same for 500S model as it is very different and I dont want to blow it up. There was a thread exactly about this problem but the guys gave up on the idea and suggested step down transformer [link : http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/class-d/251774-change-input-voltage-bash-500w-sub-amp.html ]. But I want to keep the latter option as a last resort. I've tried contacting Parts Express about this but they have no info regarding in modification of this amp. Upon more searching on the internet I have found some Norwegian forum where some dude posted that he made it to work on 220 (Google translate entire page and search for user "lesoco") [link Gruppekjøp: 500W BASH-forsterker til SVS 12.2 prosjekt [Arkiv] - AVforum - Uniting Enthusiasts Through AV Science! ]
I have straight up ran out of google results and ideas. Please help!

Sending it back would be really expensive, not worth it man.Why not return it and order the right one?
Wanted this option as last resort. If nobody will know how to convert it by tomorrow morning I will probably go and get one. Also, what volt ampere rating should the transformer be? In the online manual it says standby input power 18 VA. Shouldn't it be a little more beafy than that?Get a cheap autoformer that steps down the voltage to 115/120?
