Basalt Baffle :-)

Hi

Imagine a 10mm (3/8") thick piece of basalt (igneous rock) laminated to a 25mm (1") thick mdf baffle. The drivers would sit flush with the basalt.

Acoustically, what effect (if any) would the basalt have on the woofer, mid or tweeter?
