You may be better off sticking to a sealed enclosure. I built an offset TL for the Jordan JX53s, based on the Augspurger tables. It sounded very thin. I later heard the same drivers on a wide baffle, sealed enclosure and it blew the TL away. All the lower mid and bass that was missing from the TL was back in spades.
Omni's are a bit different from normal design. If you measure the frequency response on these, the high would roll off, but quite well spread out. They generally have a relaxing sound, but not good imaging. This is also shown in the impulse response. I think any ported enclosure properly designed would be fine, but just don't expect them to play loud, especially with much low frequency content.
