hi all,
Does anyone know where to get Baltic Borch plywood in Australia (West Australia)? Is it called something else down here?
Bunnings seem to have a heap of plywood but it's called structural or marine, is the birch called something else down this way?

Do you know where the marine plywood is made?
I have some marine plywood that was made in Finland out of birch.
The other decent source of birch plywood is Russia.
China does make some but it is not the same quality.

Not sure where it's made. All it has is the grades (eg B grade face and C grade reverse).
There is marine, structural and non structural.
I might ring another wood supplier to see what they say. Otherwise i might have to use MDF

Try calling these folks Richwise Australia Pty Ltd - Australian importers and wholesalers of Russian Birch Plywood and maybe they have a retailer
You don't really care so much what it is made of, you are looking for as many plies as possible, and no voids.
